...today it was on the edge of the garden watching one little one potter 'round the garden while listening out for the other one to wake up from his nap.....this is a scarf I started more than 5 years ago (!!!!!) I always suspected I had a problem seeing things through but five years of kicking round in the knitting bag is quite serious......

It's such pretty delicate knitting. I am mightily impressed! I wish I knew how to do that!
I have a sweater that I started several years ago and never finished. Problem was that I made alterations as I went, assuming I'd be finishing it all at once and would remember what I'd done, so I didn't write them down. Now, years later, I have no idea how to finish the second sleeve and no inclination for figuring it out. :-/
5 years seems about right to me.
It's beautiful & I'm sure well worth the wait.
Well done for picking it up again, I have had one floating in my bag for about the same amount of time. I need to finish it, but the color is all wrong now. Maybe some wool die is in order. Good luck with yours.
